Description
This yellow and purple patterned Boat Plate is another, smaller addition to our ‘Lavender in Plaid’ collection. I have made this piece with opal glass stringers (think glass spaghetti!) in 12 shades of purple, pink and yellow. It is backed with opaque white glass. This boat plate is not high gloss, but not fully matte, either. It actually has a ‘satin’ finish, which is somewhere between the two.
The style is slightly different to its sister piece (see here). However, the pattern looks very much like fabric and therefore they compliment each other. The colours purple and yellow are complementary on the colour wheel and the eagle-eyed amongst you will have spotted that they are also our brand colours. Obviously, we think that’s a good thing!
Whilst this is a much softer-coloured version of this collection, Lavender in Plaid is still a statement piece and a feast for the eyes. It appears to change each time you look at it.
Lavender in Plaid Boat Plate measures 38cm x 9cm and is a long, shallow piece.
This item will reach you in sturdy packaging, fully wrapped in padding, and packed to prevent movement in transit.
